Two Different Harbors

It’s about time I post photos for Twitter’s #FriFotos challenge.  This week’s theme is HARBORS.  I’ve picked a couple of harbors that probably couldn’t more different from one another.

Seward, Alaska – Small Boat Harbor

Seward happens to be one of the ice free ports in Alaska and because of that stays busy year-round, but during the summer is bustles with activity.  While growing up in Alaska, we visited Seward frequently.  My best friend and I even attempted a hike up Mount Marathon (in the background partially covered by fog) once, but that’s a whole story to be told some day.  This year, I visited Seward in May and July to do the Kenai Fjords tour.

Caye Caulker, Belize

I’m not sure this can really be considered a harbor, but three of Raggamuffin Tours‘ sailboats are anchored just off shore (to the left towards the back of the photo).  Regardless, I love this “harbor”…I love Caye Caulker…I love Belize.
