I wanted to start participating in #FriFotos on Twitter again. This week’s theme is WAVES, which reminded me of this beach on Santa Cruz Island. Before we got there, our guide assured us it was a swimming beach. I was apprehensive that some of us could surf and some of us could swim in the same water. I needed the guides honest assessment because it was a very long (and steep) walk and at the time I was pre latest knee surgery. I was frustrated when I got there because we were not going to be able to swim. Luckily it was gorgeous so I was glad to have made the trek.
