Packing, Packing, and More Packing

Today was a day of packing in case you didn’t figure that out by the title of this blog post.  Fortunately I had put together a pretty good list (in Excel of course) for my Belize trip and a mediocre list (chicken scratch on scrap paper) for the rest of my trip.  My plan is to have my bag for Belize completely packed with the exception of a few personal items.  I suspect I’ll have no need to use my Belize clothing in Washington or Colorado…just a guess.  🙂

Shelly came over to help me out.  Thank goodness!  It was nice to have a second set of eyes and extra pair of hands.  I suspect I have about 1-2 hour’s of packing work left for tomorrow.  I also have about an hours work to pack the car Tuesday night and maybe about a 1/2 hour Wednesday morning to add the last few personal items.

It’s just weird to think in a few short days I will be starting my vacation…a vacation that I started planning (actually started asking my boss if I could go) back in February.  It took a very long time to convince my boss that they would survive without me.  Fortunately we brought in a contractor to cover some of my duties.  Other things I had to agree to get done before I left.  But, all that is behind me now and Wednesday night right after work I’m on the road.

I will definitely be adding blog posts as I hit the road.  I can’t wait to share it with all of you (my three followers).

If I don’t see you before I go, have a wonderful Holiday Season!
