Lord Hills Park in Monroe, Washington

When I heard that this week’s theme for FriFotos, on Twitter, was green I immediately thought of a hike we did at Lord Hills Park near Monroe, Washington last summer.  If you are in the area, definitely check it out (at the end of this post I’ve listed some information).

I like this green leaf so much that I decided to use it as part of the header of my blog.  The details make me think of the ‘lines’ on a human hand.

Green Leaf

These look like some sort of berry or group of seeds.  My friend thought they looked like marionettes.  I still don’t know what they are, but I love looking at them.

Green Berries

Washington has its fair share of moss.  Close up it reminds me of a miniature forest.

Green Moss

This particular moss is a greenish silver and looks like fur.

Green/Silver Moss

Ok…this isn’t green, but of all the photos I took at Lord Hills Park this one is definitely my favorite.
